Be a part of the promotion for Hand Crafted Art, happening on July 31, 2014:

American Craft Week in WNC is sponsoring a craft blitz of downtown Asheville to start the buzz happening leading up to the October American Craft Week Event.

We are doing a take off of "Free Art Friday", an event already in place in many cities, including Asheville, and leave small items around in downtown areas for passers-by to find. The items can be any small handmade 'gift' you would like to use as a promotional tool.

The back of the tag will also encourage the recipient to learn more at our Facebook Page (where they'll be invited to post a picture of their find and learn more about the artists) and to visit this blog, where they will find even more information.

Any artist in the WNC region is invited to particpate in this event, and will be able to post 'clues' and images of their work on the Facebook Page. And if you are a particpating American Craft Week artist (join ACW for a mere $25 and be included on the national website and have an opportunity for other promotions), you will also be profiled here on the blog.
